Movie Quotations in Shai Hulud’s Song

Kira2 setahun ini, saya kembali suka ngulik2 lagu2. Dan ada satu artis pelopor metallic hardcore alias metalcore generasi awal yang menarik saya, yaitu Shai Hulud. Dulu waktu jaman2 seneng2nya sama melodic death metal (sekarang juga masih ding :p). Saya mendengar Shai Hulud sebagai salah satu influence utama dari metalcore jaman sekarang, tapi waktu itu belum nyari lagu2nya. Setelah saya mendapatkan beberapa albumnya (soft copy nya maksudnya), ada beberapa lagu yg cukup menarik. Lagu2 ini mengutip dialog2 dari dari film2 hollywood. Saya melihat lirik lagu Shai Hulud bersentimen positif dan membangun, dan dialog2 yg dikutip ini juga semakin memperkuat lagu2 ini. Berikut beberapa dialog film yg dikutip oleh Shai Hulud pada lagu2nya.

Pada album That Within Blood Ill-Tempered :

Kemungkinan besar sih ini belum semuanya, mungkin besok kalo nemu lagi deh. Film2 diatas gak semuanya terkenal, tapi kutipan2 dialog diatas sangat memperkuat karakter lagunya Shai Hulud. Dan ini esensial kalo menurut saya.
